For us, quality begins long before the first soldering point. Even during the project planning phase, we focus on feasible, production-ready solutions. In production itself, all processes are interconnected – from material testing and assembly to final inspection. Our employees are trained in accordance with IPC-A-610E and document all manufacturing steps and test results digitally and in a traceable manner.

We rely on a high level of technical quality control. Using automatic optical inspection (AOI), in-circuit testing (ICT), functional testing, high-voltage testing, and—if necessary—burn-in testing, we ensure that every assembly meets our high standards. Through serial number-based documentation, we can fully trace when, how, and with which components a product was manufactured, even after delivery.

We place particular importance on compliance with international regulations—especially for safety-critical products such as aviation obstacle lighting. We supply systems that are approved for operation worldwide in accordance with applicable standards—such as FAA (USA), ICAO Annex 14, AVV (Germany), STAC (France), MOD (UK), TraFi/TSFS (Finland), or CASA (Australia).

Quantec Services GmbH manufactures exclusively in compliance with the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU. This means that we do not use hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, or brominated flame retardants in our components—thereby making an active contribution to the protection of humans and the environment. In addition, we also comply with the requirements of the REACH Regulation, particularly with regard to SVHC substances, and document the material composition upon request.

Our customers benefit from our strict adherence to these guidelines: our products are safe, designed for long-term use, and comply with legal requirements in Europe and around the world—a real advantage for OEMs, system providers, and further processors.

For us, sustainability is not a short-term trend, but a strategic goal. That is why we operate a comprehensive environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001:2015, which covers all relevant areas of our company—from energy supply and material usage to waste separation.

A key component is our in-house nitrogen generation system. This allows us to produce the nitrogen required for many processes right on-site—independently of supply chains, efficiently, and in a resource-efficient manner. At the same time, it significantly reduces CO₂ emissions from transportation and storage.

Another highlight is our heat recovery system. It uses waste heat from machinery and technical processes to efficiently supply energy to other areas of the company, such as offices and social rooms. In addition, we rely on LED lighting, smart control systems, and ongoing optimization of our energy consumption.
